Sound Reinforcement / Public-Address

LASA supports its clients in optimising the synergy between the intrinsic acoustics of spaces (performance venues, sports arenas, stadiums, airport terminals, etc.) and the various sound reinforcement systems that may be installed within them. Accounting for the behaviour of these systems at the earliest stages of project design is one of LASA’s core areas of expertise. The company works closely with audiovisual and stage design professionals to ensure the highest possible listening quality for audiences and end users.
To this end, LASA provides its clients with a specialised electroacoustics team, advanced predictive numerical modelling tools for the early-stage design and optimisation of sound systems, and more than 40 years of expertise in the field.
LASA carries out diagnostics in existing venues (large-scale event spaces, places of worship, sports facilities, transport hubs, performance venues, etc.) and provides studies for the optimisation of loudspeaker placement and distribution using 3D modelling tools, as well as the production of sound coverage maps (SPL) and intelligibility assessments (STI/RASTI) for sound reinforcement systems (public address, announcements, safety messaging).
Using state-of-the-art predictive modelling software, LASA can also produce auralisation models, enabling clients to “listen” in advance to the expected performance of different system configurations.
